Lithuanian Post-Punk Surrealist’s Solo Ansamblis unveil their Tour Documentary “Olos Tour’ 2020”

You’re in for an audiovisual treat! Post-punk surrealists Solo Ansamblis have unveiled their tour documentary, Olos Tour 2020. Combining rave and emotion-shattering moods, electronics, and live instrumentation, the outfit quickly gathered a devoted fanbase – first in their native Lithuania, then beyond, dubbing their style as “sad dance.” The documentary is partly filmed in beautiful high contrast black and white, and promises a rewarding behind-the-scenes green room experience with the band and all its raw charm. Language barriers are shattered as we get a glimpse of this fascinating, enigmatic collective and enjoy their backstage banter. If you can’t be there live, this is the next best thing.

The aesthetically powerful Solo Ansamblis live performances are a symphony in sound and light, scenery and smoke. The meaningful lyrics of the band unfurl a delightful sensory experience where you can dance as if nobody is watching. The band urges you to “dive within yourself, your mind, and your heart.”

Their highly successful debut album Roboxai (2016) was followed by singles Netildai, Eskalatorius į Dangų, Limonadas, 1, and Dansingas. The popularity of these tracks led the band to headline Lithuania’s music festivals and events, which opened the international stage. The band went on to perform at Reeperbahn, ESNS, Tallinn Music Week, Nouvelle Prague and others, gaining international praise and a heap of awards. Solo Ansamblis has shared stages with MODESELEKTOR, Gus Gus, Röyksopp, She Past Away, Boot&Tax and others.
