Blacksilk is purring out it’s third release BSLK003, titled Tristi Di Rabbia. The vinyl reissues selection of tracks from Marco Milanesio’s DsorDNE, an experimental electronic band active in Turin, Italy during the 80’s and early 90’s—whose first release in 1987 was a split 7 inch with The Legendary Pink Dots.
Listen to Aria above—the first track on the B side of Tristi Di Rabbia—which is one of two contemporary remixes for the vinyl. In this case the track is reimagined through the mind of a rising star in the techno scene, Berlin’s Phase Fatale—who weaves rhythmic gloom into dancefloor-friendly vocal abstraction.
The artwork is for the release is curated by Silent Servant, utilizing a surreal interpretation of caged Orthodox icon taken at the National Museum of Art in Bucharest.
Tristi Di Rabbia is out July 17th.
