Berlin based post-industrial techno act NNHMN, the musical project of duo Lee and Michal Laudarg, embarks on a sonic journey at the thresholds of modern theatre and techno, explored deeply on their recent Second Castle EP, issued through K-Dreams Records.
The record is a spacious drone of of pulses and incantations over layers of shivering synthesizer tracks that feel like panoramic immersion in a gritty and strobed Berlin factory sound installation, while Lee Laudarg’s vocals conjure the fervent chill of Enya’s “Boadicea”, or ethereal vocals culled from the catalog of classic 4AD.

After relocating from Warsaw to Berlin, Lee and Michal Laudarg came together in this project to explore their spirituality which includes an internal debate on existential solitude that manifests itself through the inner psychic states of the musicians and reflecting it outwards as emotion as
experienced through sound.
The dense, shape-shifting atmospheres of the five songs grew out of late-night
experiments in the layering of synthesizer tracks, a process that also led to meditations on
the unstoppable nature of change.
Second Castle , is a cohesive post-industrial journey featured on five tracks available on limited hand numbered cassettes as also digitally through K-Dreams Records
