Post-sextile, Synthpunk maestro Brady Keehn has unleashed Panther Modern, a flagrant foray into decadent cyberpunk fatalism that is the perfect soundtrack for being strung out in Chiba City, or Los Angeles 2020, which is the name of the project’s debut EP.
The music is a natural extension of the stripped down swan song in the 3 EP, but now a deeper dive into a neon-tinged psychosis, where cyberspace—the consensual hallucination experienced daily by fans of EBM and synth-driven post-punk, is a tangible array of physical sensations triggered by sparse beats, and tactile pulses.
The Neuromancer inspired 4-track EP was written, recorded and produced by Brady Keehn himself, and mastered by Maurizio Baggio (The Soft Moon, Boy Harsher, Merchandise, Niños Du Brasil).
On May 31st LOS ANGELES 2020 was released digitally via iTunes, Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, etc. A tape format of the EP is set to be released on July 8th, 2019, and is available for pre-order now.
