Californian darkwave duo Mannequin are sharing with us today the track “Everybody”, a warm lo-fi wash of reverb, deep vocals, driving bass lines, and precipitous synth melodies that hit the air laden with the nostalgic dust brushed off the records sleeve and liner notes.
This indeed could convince the uninitiated that is a contemporaries of 80’s acts such as Das Kabinette, Iron Curtain, The Frozen Autumn, or Clan Of Xymox.
This tape marks the band’s first physical release, combining their first two EP’s ’Singles’ and ‘Factions’. The 6 track limited edition cassette is available December 15th via Belgian label Sentimental.
