Ladytron Premiere Their Video for “The Animals”

Ladytron have premiered the video for their fantastic single “The Animals”, to be featured on a yet to be named sixth studio album that the band have scheduled to record between May and June in the UK.

The video for “The Animals” was directed by Fernando Nogari and shot with a local cast in Brazil, to which Daniel Hunt, a founding member of Ladytron, describes  as “a love letter to São Paulo”.

Ladytron previously had been on an extended hiatus—where in the interim singer Helen Marnie released two solo albums. The first was 2013’s Crystal World, which was issued via legendary Belgian imprint Les Disques Du Crépuscule, and featured remixes by Mark Reeder and Stephen Morris.

The second Strange Words and Weird Wars which was released in 2017and featured the singles Alphabet Block, Lost Maps, and Electric Youth.
