LA Underground Artist Ciggy Webbs Debuts Dark and Nostalgic Video for “My Angel”

Los Angeles-based solo artist Ciggy Webbs debuts a new dark, nostalgic video for “My Angel”, from a new two-song split titled Don’t Move, I’ll Shoot. Taking a cue from the Myspace aesthetic with modern production, the video, written and directed by frequent collaborator CC Bryan, is a cinematic, symbolic crucifixion.

The hypnotic, droning track mimics the racing thoughts of anxiety, juxtaposed with graphic violence. A statement upon the sins of the Catholic Church? The redemption of the soul? The need for a voice? The interpretation is up to you.

Watch below:

The track and video follow May’s release of the enigmatic “Pretty Like A Car Crash”.
