LA Post-Punk Duo Songs for Sabotage Join Forces with Blood Handsome in their Video for “Loaded”

Taking a cue from glitchy 90s MTV documentary style, Songs For Sabotage hits the streets of NYC’s Lower East Side with their new song “Loaded”. Featuring Blood Handsome (Young & Cold Records), the song is out now via Hush Club Ltd.

We wrote this song over the summer with Blood Handsome, who Ive known since high school,” says Richey Rose. “We grew up playing in the same local punk rock scene in Lexington, Kentucky, and now both live in Los Angeles. Weve been on our respective creative paths for a while now, and those paths have crossed several times in recent years. We decided it was time to do a track together and Loaded is what came out of those sessions.

Rather than making a classic music video, the accompanying clip directed, shot, and edited by NYC artists All Rights Aint Reserved goes a different route: becoming an interpretation of the song; a fragmented mini-movie about the band through glimpses of candid moments.

All Rights Aint Reserved  were recommended to us by a mutual friend,” adds vocalist Lina Sophie. “We immediately loved their lofi/glitch aesthetic and thought it would be the perfect visual direction for the vibe…We returned to the streets of the Lower East Side, where we started SFS in early 2019. The All Rights crew were able to capture genuinely candid moments that happened to us as we were wandering around our old neighborhood. The video also features us performing the song in front of projections, including Blood Handsomes performance which we shot here in LA.”
