The new EBM instrumental single from Berlin artist Kris Baha, Digital Shadows from Cyber Body Music Vol. 1, plunges listeners into a gritty, neon-soaked cyberpunk landscape where humanity and technology blur in unsettling synchronicity. The track pulses with the rhythms of a dystopian future, channeling the raw energy of a chaotic world in flux.
Beneath its metallic beats lies a meditation on the tangled dance between emotion and machinery, reflecting on humanity’s fraught existence in an age where digital and organic worlds collide. Baha’s work challenges us to confront the fear and promise of a universe increasingly dominated by cybernetic possibilities.
Alessandro Nero’s cyberpunk vision for the video blends retro-futurism with a raw, modern edge. The pulse of this metropolis mirrors humanity’s own struggle—our need for connection, paradoxically paired with our inevitable isolation in a hyper-connected world. In this maze of neon-lit towers and shadowed alleyways, the city stands as both a character and a cage, trapping its inhabitants in tech-fueled disorientation.
Played by Elen Payne, the character’s heightened anxiety throbs with a disjointed desperation, echoing themes of fractured identity and a yearning to connect in a world overloaded with digital noise. It’s a jarring plunge into a neon abyss, haunting us well after the glow fades.
