Killing Joke’s Jaz Coleman is Currently Recovering In the Hospital

Jaz Coleman: global nomad, mystic, and mastermind behind Killing Joke, is currently in the hospital. As of this writing, the reason for his hospitalization remains a mystery, but his official Facebook page has this to say:

Thanks to all those who have messaged, texted and called. Jaz is currently in hospital and is recovering well. Please leave your comments and well wishes below and we will pass them over.

Coleman, as usual, has had several creative irons in the fire recently. Coleman, Geordie Walker, and Peter Hook released an EP of the recently unearthed K÷93 (CADIZ Music) in March.

Rumours have been circulating that Coleman had disappeared in recent months, nothing unprecedented as Coleman famously disappeared in 1982 with occult visions of the impending apocalypse, leading him to hole up in Iceland for months, and twenty years later a canceled 2012 tour with The Cult finding him vanished once more, later being found in the Western Sahara desert.

Wherever and whatever infirmary Jaz is currently convalescing, here is hoping his recovery is swift and complete.

More to come as news unfolds.
