Italian dark wave trio Ash Code are premiering with us today the stylish video for their frenetic synth driven banger “Black Gloves”, a track featured on their recently released third studio album Perspektive.
On the writing the song’s narcissistic themes, Ash Code explain:
“We started to write the song after watching the film The Neon Demon… everyone likes monsters because they distract us from reality and any of us can be monsters too…. The obsessive desire to succeed, to dominate, to feel superior and admired, turn us into domineering, artificial creatures prone to run over people’s body and drain their blood just to feel ‘special’.”
