Atlanta underground producer MPKJR’s CRT, CopyrightRegisteredTrademark, has returned to DKA Records with 6 new tracks in the form of State X-ray. One of these tracks, “SkinBeneathSkin”, sees it’s video premiere today.
This is funky old-school industrial synthpunk, innovative, yet nostalgic—evoking old-school Ministry, Nervous Gender, and SPK, and Severed Heads, yet standing on its own with its distorted electro-metallic genius.
Utilizing various field recordings, VHS compressed audio, modular synths and hardware sequencers create this release’s sonic palette, this track slams, in with its accompanying stylish black and white visuals, entreats you to rage along with the infectious rhythms.
