Icelandic Synth Chanteuse Sólveig Matthildur Sings a Sorrowful Song Through Her Window

Following up her charming manifesto “Politician of Love”, Kælan Mikla synth composer Sólveig Matthildur has returned with another breathtakingly beautiful track, this time titled “Window”, and along with it, a sorrowfully surreal music video.

Solveig explains:

“I wrote the song last year in San Luis Obispo, in Some Ember’s studio. I had recently moved back to Iceland and had been traveling all year and really appreciated the time I had to look back and accept my recent past. Both the good and the bad things. So it is about homesickness, calmness, and acceptance of sorrow. I hope you enjoy.”

Watch the video, once again by creative collaborators Dean Kemball and Kinnat Sóley, below:

“Window” is out digitally now.
