Talented young Icelandic vocalist Sólveig Matthildur, a member of darkwave trio Kælan Mikla, has just unveiled the video for the title track of her beautiful new solo collection of songs Constantly in Love.
On the song & video Sólveig explains:
“This song is about being constantly in love with everything around you. Leading to a heart that is constantly broken.
With the fear of being hurt, so you break everything around you before it breaks you.
It’s not necessarily about love between people. Recently I am mostly inspired by my dreams. I have these crazy realistic surrealistic dreams and I get so sad when I wake up and realize how limiting reality really is. It breaks my heart.
This video is the second part of three videos on my newly released album Constantly in Love. I work with my friends Dean Kemball and Kinnat Sóley on the videos and the artistic concepts behind the album.”

Constantly in Love features guest appearances from Drab Majesty’s Deb Demure, dreamy solo artist Some Ember, and the digital version includes a bonus track remixed by Hante. The album is out now via Artoffact Records.
