Houston’s about to get a whole lot gloomier this summer.
The 2025 edition of Dark Ceremony Festival is set to descend upon White Oak Music Hall on Saturday, June 28, 2025, boasting a lineup that promises to satiate fans of darkwave and post-punk alike. Leading the charge is Texas’s own Twin Tribes, the darkwave duo known for their haunting guitar melodies and synth-laden tracks that delve into themes of the otherworldly, the occult, and the undead.
Joining them are gothic rock veterans London After Midnight, who bring their theatrical flair and brooding anthems to the stage. Rounding out the headliners is Drab Majesty, the enigmatic project that blends ethereal synths with melodic post-punk sensibilities, creating a sound that’s stylish, nostalgic, and avant-garde.
The rest of the lineup is equally compelling, featuring:
- Gene Loves Jezebel, the legendary British post-punk act known for their fusion of gothic rock and alternative rock.
- This Cold Night, delivering a blend of post-punk and coldwave that resonates with melancholic beauty.
- RIKI, offering synth-driven pop tracks that echo the sounds of ’80s new wave.
- Dancing Plague, merging darkwave and industrial elements into a danceable gloom.
- Rosegarden Funeral Party, channeling classic gothic rock and deathrock vibes with ’80s pop rock sensibilities.
- Corbeau Hangs, presenting introspective darkwave melodies wrapped in gothic aesthetics.
- Night Ritualz, crafting pulsing synths infused with brooding vocals and dark beats.
- Of the Burning Light, delivering emotive performances rooted in gothic traditions.
