Cologne’s Holygram released a stellar debut EP on November 30th 2016—with tracks such as Hideaway prompting the immediate creation off unofficial fan videos. Indeed, Holygram is the sleeper-hit in dreampop, and today we are lucky to premiere the video for the fantastic Still There—a strobed and hazy fugue hiding the band in the anti-image harkening back to The Cure circa 1980-82.
The music’s evocative basslines, and atmospheric guitars and synths create a sound both fresh and nostalgic—like if New Order were released on Creation Records, or The Soft Moon on 4AD.
Reptile Music are releasing a CD edition Holygram’s debut EP containing the five original tracks—plus four brand new remixes by Blind Delon, Box And The Twins, D’Evoé and Bob Humid.
