These eyes are pure
planets disappear
There is no place to hide
The tortured lands will be my shelter
Every day I die
A soul severed from time drifts through an endless cycle of departure and renewal. No sorrow, no solace; just the weight of years that refuse to heal. The winds howl, the ground trembles, yet existence remains trapped in an eternal loop. With every farewell, there is rebirth; with every loss, the promise of reunion. Time grinds its teeth, years pile like wreckage, and yet the wheel turns—an endless loop of endings and beginnings, each as relentless as the last.
Every Day I Die, the latest from THEODOROS, plunges headfirst into this brutal cycle. Theodoros Dimitriou, known for his work with Lefki Symphonia, weaves together electro-punk bite, darkwave moodiness, post-punk lament, and a dash of psychedelic introspection. The result is a raw and urgent confession, the soundtrack to midlife reckoning, a lament for a world unraveling, or the bitter salve for a day steeped in despair.
Melanie Merges-Dimitriou directs the glitchy, retrofuturistic lyric video—an eerie doubling, a mirrored performance where reality splinters and repeats, just like the refrain of existence itself. The camera lingers, loops, fractures, and reforms, capturing THEODOROS in his element—stripped down, unvarnished, ensnaring the listener with stark intensity and hooks sharp enough to cut through the fog of regret.
