[dropcap]Producer[/dropcap], DJ and visual artist Grebenstein is releasing his first EP via Horo records on February 24th. Listen to the title track from the Gloss EP above. The 4 track release follows Downwards Records release Strong, Proud, Stupid, & Superior with Seefried—which was released in October 2016.
The record begins with Gloss and ends with Loss—starting with a foreboding crescendo that creates a sense of dread with an affect not unlike the infrasounds from a horror film—with two Self tracks between between. The EP is both an introspective exploration and exercise in abjection—permeating with pensive feedback.
To celebrate the release, Horo will be hosting a launch party at OHM Berlin, on February 18th. Featuring Grebenstein (live), Oake (DJ set), Sam KDC, Presha, and DiNT (debut).
