French dark synth duo Minuit Machine have unveiled their video for “Don’t Run From The Fire”. The Parisian duo of Hélène and Amandine conjure up their own brand of music they like to call“disrupted wave”, weaving electronic music textures that span the 1980s to the early 90s, with thoughtful lyrics that often grapple with the thin line between hope and despair.
“Fight, it’s not a crime
To search for a better life”
The video for “Don’t Run From The Fire” is directed and edited by Hélène de Thoury, capturing a hypnotic resonance of shadowy beats, and soft vocal exhales under strobed lights and static.
