Flesh For Lulu’s Nick Marsh passes away

[dropcap]On[/dropcap] June 5, 2015 we lost a Post-Punk hero, Nick Marsh, from Flesh for Lulu. One of my favorite songs from his band Flesh for Lulu, besides the track “I Go Crazy” utilized on the “Some Kind of Wonderful” soundtrack, is the phenomenal “Roman Candle”, whose title an lyrics  were inspired by the following prose by Jack Kerouac:

“the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars.”

Dear all,

Sadly, Nick lost his fight this morning. He passed peacefully away, with Kat by his side holding his hand. A massive thank you to everyone who has shown support, in so many ways, to Nick, Kat and their beautiful girls. We’ve lost a good’un.
