Deathrock project Executioner’s Mask has unleashed their video for “No Funeral”, an icy windswept synth-infused melody, that drives down a highway to hell with scythe-like guitar hooks overlaid with deep dark crooning gothic rock vocals.
The band is the brainchild of three unusual suspects: Jay Gambit of noise metal unit Crowhurst on vocals, Ryan Wilson from Intestinal Disgorge on synth and drum programming, and LACE and Cop Warmth’s Craig Mickle also on guitar.
Added to their live lineup on drum duties is Samus Clintonov, in addition to Joshua Bosarge on bass and Jim Reed on second guitar.

Executioner’s Mask’s released their demo ‘True Blue’ in 2018. Shortly after the demo was issued, the trio re-imagined and re-recorded those tracks, and completed 7 new songs that would round out their Profound Lore debut, Despair Anthems, an 11-song lp from this post-punk/deathrock project, which is set for release on July 10th via Profound Lore.
