Our friends over at The Brvtalist just did a premiere of the new video from Veil of Light. The new track “Fact2019” comes off the forthcoming release, Inflict, the fourth full length album from the Zürich based duo, following 2017’s Front Teeth.
Continuing the new direction in sound explored on their previous outing, the new song is complex, catchy, and infectious, with old school EBM and Darkwave beats overlaid with a classic post-punk sensibility.
The video, filmed and edited by Samuel Trümpy, features a simple studio setup with a striking emerald-green backdrop that in most circumstances would be used for chromakey, yet here give aesthetically pleasing contrast the synths, black clothes, and human skin tones.
