Einstürzende Neubauten will release their new album „Lament“ in November

German Industrial cult legends, Einstürzende Neubauten, are going to release their new studio album „Lament“ on November 8. „Lament“ is a concept album about the start of World War I, which happened 100 years ago—beginning on the 28th of July in 1914. The research for „Lament“ took Einstürzenden Neubauten to the Archives of the Humboldt University in Berlin and the Deutsches Rundfunkarchiv as well as the Militärhistorisches Museum in Dresden. Even the Jazz music of the legendary „Harlem Hell Fighters“ marching band, the first afro-american fighters in World War I are part of  „Lament“. Neubauten’s trademark instrumentations that contain steal, voice, „objets trouvés“ and other innovative techniques are expanded this time around with the addition of string players.
