Echolust have released their dark-wave and early 90’s infused shoegaze debut LP “Veldisa”

[dropcap]Shoegazers[/dropcap] hailing from Long Beach California, Echolust have released their debut LP following the release of a clutch of singles this past year such as Zombie Birds and Doublespeak—that are included on the record. The band—formed in 2012, is comprised of the three daydreamers Philip Obando, Armond Angeles and Tony Lee Jackson who come together to make a beautiful noise drowned in distortion and sonorous reverb.

While the singles Zombie Birds and Doublespeak are remnants of a more dark-wave style—the new material such as the stellar shoegaze revival track Velvet Holiday, and the Phil Spector drum infusion via The Jesus Mary Chain-esque Cherry Dancer—really shine on!
