Brilliant visual artist and bedroom pop musician Reuben Sawyer is back with a brand new video from his dream-pop infused post-punk project The Column.
The new track “Tastes the Same” is a surreal work of art that finds Sawyer pondering the meaning of modern life and consumerism over percolating synths and pounding drums that are overlaid with lo-fi bass, and reverb washed guitars.
The video for the song meanders through a daily routine in a rural setting, encircled by burger buns and the spin cycle at a local laundromat.

The Column returns with Sparrows Tongue, the project’s first vinyl release since the 2018 LP, Oracle.

Sparrow’s Tongue is out March 20th, 2020.
