Drab Majesty premiere new track “The Demon”

[dropcap]Drab Majesty[/dropcap] (Dais Records, Weyrd Son Records), are releasing a two-song seven inch next week while on tour in Europe. We saw this solo project of “Deb DeMure” last night in Berlin during a surprise Youth Code performance, as a surprise guest, and our editorial team and the entire audience were blown away. Through his otherworldly stage persona through the project Drab Majesty—Deb truly is an Alien starchild channeled through the spiritual and cosmic lens of someone like David Sylvian and his aptly named band Japan. but far stranger.

Deb’s last LP, Careless, was released last summer through Dais Records and Deb shared the stage with Psychic TV, King Dude, Animal Bodies and so many others. Most recently, Dais released a compilation called Completely Careless which is complete collection containing virtually everything from Drab Majesty plus some demos and outtakes.

Today we are premiering the track The Demon from the The new 7inch, The Heiress / The Demon, which will be out on April 7th on Weyrd Son Records.

Listen to “The Demon” below, and order the 7inch here
