Dolores O’Riordan had formed a band called D.A.R.K. with Andy Rourke from The Smiths

We are all mourning the shocking loss of The Cranberries’ Dolores O’Riordan, who had been in London at the time of her death working on new material for her beloved Irish Alternative Rock band—the followup to 2017’s release of Something Else.

Before that, however, O’Riordan had joined the band Jetlag in April of 2014. The band featured Ole Koretsky, and Andy Rourke—the bassist from The Smiths.

After enlisting O’Riordan on vocals, the band changed their name to D.A.R.K, and release the LP Science Agrees in September of 2016.
