Nick and Kat of The KVB have proven themselves as one of the best young creative duos making music right now by once again showcasing their audio/visual flair with their video for “Violet Noon”.
The song is featured on Only Now Forever, the duo’s sixth studio album, and second issued via Invada Records—the label run by Geoff Barrow of Portishead and Beak>.
Taking it’s influence from the work of Lee Hazlewood & Nancy Sinatra, best known for their dreamlike duets such as “Some Velvet Morning”, “Violet Noon” is described as “a dark love song set against the backdrop of the apocalypse”. The video in surreal splendor was shot on the Jurassic Coast of Dorset in England, which “reflects the otherworldliness of this song, it feels like a hazy memory, timeless and romantic.”

Those stateside are in luck, as The KVB have announced their fall trek across North America.
These dates will be the band’s debut tour across the Atlantic and are rescheduled from this spring’s shows which were cancelled due to reasons beyond the band’s control.
All tickets purchased previously will be transferred to the new dates and any ticket refunds will be available from the point of purchase. The KVB will be touring in support of their new album Only Now Forever which is available now on Invada Records and on vinyl via Light In The Attic.
The KVB’s upcoming tour will kick off in San Diego and includes shows in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Philadelphia and more.
