Dead Leaf Echo | “so.wrong”

Dead Leaf Echo are one of those bands that came to my attention via word of mouth through friends on NYC friends on Facebook, always excited about a new release, or seeing them live.  After an interview and performance on The B-Sides: NYC Sessions back in August, Dead Leaf Echo have released a promo video for the song “so.wrong” off their new EP “true.deep.sleeper”.  The video is directed by singer/guitarist Lg Galleon, and looks like it could have been for a Creation Records band during the early 90s.  The song itself has that classic shoegaze era sound with some gothic elements.   Think Catherine Wheel meets Medusa era Xymox.  Definitely worth picking up the EP.
