Darkwave Legends Clan of Xymox, following the Valentine’s Day release of the She EP have returned with their new single “Lovers”, and its accompanying video.
The song continuing the old-school post-punk meets modern Darkwave and Goth, sees Ronny Moorings and Co returning to his roots, all the while embracing the sonic palette of the current generation of bands following in Xymox’s footsteps.
Filmed in Ireland, and directed and edited by once again by COX collaborator Zoe Kavanagh, the videostars Kathie Richardson, Cat Coyle, Paul Sparkes, and in an orange glow, explores the romance of two young women and all its fervent dynamics, all the while evoking all the unfettered passion of French New Wave cinema.
