Chicago-based synth-pop/darkwave duo Wingtips, a project comprising the immensely talented pair of Vincent Segretario and Hannah Avalon, have followed up their previous video for “Deaf Pursuit”, with a stunning clip for the track “Here and Now”.
The song is featured on the pair’s recently released debut LP Exposure Therapy, out on Artoffact Records.
The video’s scenic vistas and hike through the lush and verdant forest augments the aural elegance of the band’s most Cure-like track on the record, which is a fusion of the sonic palette of Robert’s Smith’s magnum opus Disintegration with the shimmering guitar and keys of 4AD Dreampop luminaries Cocteau Twins.
