Fresh off their triumphant European tour, and select dates with She Past Away, Darkwave duo Twin Tribes heave unveiled their new video for “Heart and Feather”. The track is the first single to be premiered from their critically acclaimed second studio album Ceremony, and is the last video to be released in promotion of the album.
“Heart and Feather” uses its deeply poetic lyrical interplay to explore the nature of love crossed with the duality of shadow and light. With a timeless melody, the song is both danceable and brimming with dark romanticism, with a shimmering melody of hopeful resignation—cursed by the ebbing sands of the hourglass as the song suggests.
The video for “Heart & Feather” was shot by M. Sebastian Kolderup-Lane in stunning black and white, depicting Luis Navarro and Joel Niño, Jr performing in various locations: a desolate desert landscape, a claustrophobic room, a quiet Victorian sofa. It is a lovely metaphor for the vast dream-laden world found within the deepest recesses of the heart; an undiscovered country explored throughout all the highs and lows of a star-crossed relationship.

In wake of their recently finished word tour, Twin Tribes plan on taking a well-deserved rest before shifting focus to work on their next release.
In the meantime, Ceremony is out now through Negative Gain (North America), Manic Depression Records (France), and Young & Cold Records (Germany) on CD, Vinyl, and digital.
