CURSE Premiere Their Other Worldly Video for “Cassini”

Baltimore’s CURSE debut the gritty electronic track “Cassini” that depicts an outer-worldy space exploration of unknown territory. Cassini was a spacecraft that was sent to Saturn by the United States and Italy in order to study its complex rings and moons in detail. CURSE’s video is an extension of the solar system’s vast, uncharted territory.

CURSE’s new album Metamorphism is a cataclysm of different genres of music, from melodic synth to noise-infused grindcore. Reaching from such influences allow the duo of Jane Vincent and Logan Terkelsen to create a lush, grandiose album that is unlike much else. Vincent says: “Metamorphism is the third full-length release from our band CURSE. When we started this band in 2011, we set out to make music that held the destructive heaviness of extreme metal in contrast with the delicate melodiousness of synthpop and dance music.”
