Cult Synth Act Silent EM has unleashed his video for another throbbing synth-laden track from his debut LP The Absence, released this past summer from Disko Obscura.
“Don’t Crash So Fast” is intense, dynamic, and cinematic, and altogether infectiously danceable evoking all the pulsing panache of proto-EBM and Italo disco into decadently dysphoric darkwave.
On the video’s production Silent Em maestro Jean Lorenzo explains:
“We shot a video in New Orleans on the first day of the Summer tour back in August. Here’s ‘Don’t Crash So Fast’, directed and edited by Nathan Tape, shot live at Techno Club.”

“Don’t Crash So Fast” is track number two on The Absence, “a collection of eight of Silent EM’s strongest, most powerful tracks to date”. The album was recorded late last year by Matia Simovich (Inhalt) at Infinite Power Studios in Los Angeles.
