Cold Waves Festival XI Announces 2023 Lineup Featuring Godflesh, Frontline Assembly, Twin Tribes, Harsh Symmetry, Nuovo Testamento, and More!

Cold Waves Festival XI has officially announced their lineup for 2023, featuring some of the biggest names in industrial and darkwave. The festival is set to take place from September 23-28 at Metro, Smart Bar, and Gman Tavern in Chicago.

The legendary Godflesh will headline the festival, bringing their groundbreaking industrial metal sound to the stage. Fans looking to secure their spot at the festival can now purchase a limited number of “All Building” discounted passes through Metro. These passes come with a $40 savings across the entire weekend and expedited bracelet entry. However, keep in mind that these passes are 21+.

The festival’s full lineup will be announced on Tuesday, March 14th at 10 AM CT, with tickets going on sale Friday, March 17th at 10 AM CT. There will be options for Single-Day GA and Single-Day VIP tickets, and attendees can choose which days they want to attend. Metro shows are 18+, and doors open at 6:00, with shows starting at 7:00, while Smart Bar shows are 21+, with doors opening at 11:00 and shows starting at 12:00.

In addition to providing an unforgettable musical experience, Cold Waves Festival XI is committed to giving back to the community. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Darkest Before Dawn and other mental health awareness charities.

The festival will kick off with an official show on September 21 at Sleeping Village, with the rest of the festival set to take place at Metro, Smart Bar, and Gman Tavern.
