Choir Boy Unveil New Single “Nites Like This” | New Album Due Out in 2020

After performing the song in their live repertoire for more than a year, Choir Boy have finally released the single for “Nites Like This”, giving us a teaser of new material.

The band are currently in the studio recording their next record, the follow-up to the band’s stellar 2016 debut, Passive With Desire.

In the song, Choir Boy’s Adam Klopp gives a spellbinding and otherworldly vocal performance, effortlessly infusing the lyrics with unrelenting emotion.

Thematically, “Nites Like This” wistfully “contemplates the impermanence of romantic love and is meant to simulate a dream in which you’re dancing with your lover, but they are slowly pulled away by an invisible force,” explains Klopp.

Expect the new Choir Boy album to be released via Dais Records in 2020. In the meantime, check below for a list of remaining performances this year and purchase “Nites Like This” via Bandcamp.

CHOIR BOY LIVE DATES:

  • 10/30: Boise, ID – Neurolux
  • 10/31: Portland, OR – Mississippi Studios
  • 11/01: Seattle, WA – Clock Out Lounge
