You will find me if you want me in the garden
Fresh off of a stunning performance at Berlin Atonal’s 2017 edition, Blackest Ever Black Artist Carla dal Forno has premiered the video for the title track off of her EP The Garden a new 4 song release that follows up her 2016 debut album You Know What It’s Like.
The EP’s title track mirrors and is an anima animus tribute to Einsturzende Neubauten’s song (above) from the 1996 release Ende Neu, but alters the perspective to from Blixa Bargeld’s to something more feminine, and the patience to endure rain or shine.
This new incarnation of The Garden is a spell binding evolution in the delicate precision of Carla dal Forno’s music—and through minimal layers of sound the track dominated the cavernous walls of the Kraftwerk last month. We were certainly lucky to hear it live, and look forward to the EP.
Carla dal Forno – The Garden is out on Blackest Ever Black on October 6th
