On Eve of their European Tour, Canadian post-punk Stalwarts Actors unveil their precision performed opus “L’appel Du Vide”, a song that is as pure 1980s as it gets,—with its tight drums, bass, and keys overlaid with Jason Corbett’s razor-sharp guitar riff and crooning vocals.
The song’s title is the french expression for the intrusive thoughts that fill the vacuum of a mind left to its own spiraling anxieties—the kind that can only be drowned out with a pair of headphones blasting the anthemic reverie displayed on this brilliant track culled from the band’s 2018 LP It Will Come to You—now on its third pressing via Artoffact Records

“We’ve been waiting to come back to Europe all year and now the time has arrived. We’ll be hitting the stage and getting a chance to meet all of you face to face.” -Jason Corbett
