Dance all night
Sleep all day
Live your life
In sweet decay
None Shall Remain‘s latest track, The Night’s Still Young (Plenty of Time To Die), steps out from the neon-lit gloom of NYC’s underground with a nocturnal charm. Peter Michell, Matt Bronner, Cesar Marin and Stas Poletaev, hailing from vastly different corners of the planet, meld their disparate roots into a sound that feels exhilaratingly fresh yet instantly recognizable.
Their new single channels the reckless abandon of twilight youth, dancing carelessly on the precipice of ruin. Synths pulse beneath like a restless city heart, layered guitars wrap listeners in shoegaze textures, and the rhythm section drives forward with unwavering certainty. Michell channels the vocals of two other Peter powerhouses here: Murphy and Steele, drifting through the track like smoke across a midnight bar, embodying hedonism with a seductive elegance.
The band’s diverse influences: EDM’s hypnotic loops, classical’s meticulous architecture, punk’s sharpened immediacy, and metal’s subterranean heaviness, collide gracefully here. It’s music as much about the allure of nocturnal pleasure as it is an acknowledgment of fleeting mortality. The lyrics champion indulgence, embracing life’s darker thrills while sidestepping oblivion.
The Night’s Still Young (Plenty of Time To Die) captures the essence of youthful nihilism with cinematic clarity. None Shall Remain paints vivid scenes of reckless nights and elusive dawns, creating an addictive anthem for those who find meaning amidst life’s beautiful decay.
“We set out to record a legitimate Goth Rock track,” says Michell. “We placed driving guitar parts and synths over heavy drums and synth bass. As usual, the vocals dwell in the darkness. Charlie Vela (Twin Tribes) returned to mix/master the track which gives it a polished, yet gritty feel.”

Keeping with the theme, None Shall Remain has also recently released a video for a previous track, “Nasty Mind,“ directed by Alice Teeple. This clip takes you through both the New York City subway system and a surreal journey through the dark, catacomb-like spaces of your strangest fantasies.
