Box and the Twins premiere their dreamy video for the track”Pale Blue Dot”

[dropcap]In[/dropcap] their latest video—Cologne based Box and the Twins have channeled the profound statement Carl Sagan illustrated by his request that the Voyager 1 Space Probe take a photograph of planet Earth—which was indeed taken on February 14th 1990—from a record distance of about 6 billion kilometers. This was one of the most significant selfies taken in human history!

“To my mind, there is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly and compassionately with one another and to preserve and cherish that pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.”-Carl Sagan

Through the first video Pale Blue Dot—Box and the Twins ask the question if “the transcendence of existence indicates any significance whatsoever, or if we are only living in some forgotten corner of the universe?”

After initially releasing two EPs, Marc, Mike, and Box are releasing their debut LP Everywhere I go is Silence on November 8th through Manic Depression Records & Synth Religion. The album is produced by Hélène de Thoury, with a composition of melancholic guitars and dark electronics complements the vision of an eternal autumn, creating the perfect soundtrack for the season.
