Berlin-Based Noise Rock Act Errorr Unveil their Video for “Smash Hit”

Berlin-based project Errorr has unveiled their video for “Smash Hit”, a sombre sonic interlude wrapped in black and white fuzzed-up delerium, augmented by droning guitar grooves and dreamlike vocals over a cavalcade of classic commercial imagery.

Errorr, is a band led by Swedish multi-instrumentalist, musician, and producer Leonard Kaage. The band stylistically combines a wide range of rock-genres in their music but plays first and foremost both noise and punk rock.

Together, this three-piece creates a wall of sound with vigorous drumming, fuzz-drenched bass, and massive sounding guitars. The songs are straightforward and direct but never seem to be predictable.

Watch the video for “Smash Hit” below:

On the debut album, Unprofitable Servant Errorr’s Leonard Kaage played all the instruments and made the production himself in his basement studio in Friedrichshain, Berlin last year.

Kaage is also active as the guitar player and producer of The Underground Youth and has worked and recorded many other bands. Some examples are Jawbones, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Blue Angel Lounge, Tracy Bryant, Kristof Hahn (Swans) and Holy Motors.

Unprofitable Servant is to be released on Anomic Records in 2021.
