Belgian Post-Punk Heroes Whispering Sons Premiere Video For Twin Peaks Inspired “Alone”

They move so slowly when they’re not afraid…

Belgian post-punk heroes Whispering Sons are premiering with us today their video for “Alone”, a song featured on their upcoming full length debut Image.

Alone has been regularly included in band’s live set, but never before has the song been given an official release until now.

The refrain from “Alone” is a line of cryptic dialog from Twin Peaks resident Margaret Lanterman aka the Log Lady,  which was spoken during episode 5 of the show’s phenomenal first season.

The log lady speak this line to herself before Agent Cooper, Sheriff Truman, and Doc Hayward enter her cabin and interview her about what she saw the night Laura Palmer died.

Through the darkness of future’s past,
The magician longs to see.
One chants out between two worlds…
“Fire… walk with me.”

The video for image was produced by The Breakfast Club, and written and directed by Koen Blauwblomme & Pieter De Ridder, with color grading by Joris Vertenten.

Koen Blauwblomme & Pieter De Ridder had previously worked with Whispering Sons on their video for their 2016  single “Strange Identities”.

IMAGE is set for release on October 19th.
