Autographed copy of Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures for Sale via Ebay

An auction listing for a rare piece of Joy Division memorabilia (not as controversial as a kitchen table) appeared on Ebay the other day.  This is indeed the Holy Grail for Joy Division fans, as it happens to be an autographed copy of Unknown Pleasures—listed as being signed on October 4th, 1979 – City Hall, Newcastle, while the young men in question were supporting, and most likely pranking The Buzzcocks.

The listing states that this record is from the private collection of Mark Stacey—it is unclear whether this is the very same Mark Stacey of Bargain Hunt fame.—However running at $15,000 you would be hard pressed to call this a bargain.

You can find the listing here
