One of the best Darkwave acts at the moment is Buzz Kull—the guise of which Sydney-based producer Marc Dwyer records and performs his music.
Marc is currently in the middle of his European tour—with performances scheduled at TIQ and Kalabalik ahead of him. While in Berlin for a few days off he as shared with us a new remix he came up with while crashing with long-time friends Spirit Valley in Amsterdam.
Spirit Valley are psych-rock duo—also hailing from Sydney—who just released their sophomore LP Negatives via Fuzz Club Records on August 4th. While Marc was with them in Amsterdam, they both played an intimate rehearsal-room show to a small group of friends, and after hearing his friend’s new material live he instantly took to remixing the single Dileria Hysteria.

The track was already a perfect fusion of Post-Punk and Psychedelia worthy of the highest praise but Buzz Kull has transformed it into a chilling minimalistic darkwave masterpiece—that once Dj’s get a hold of this—it is sure to be a dancefloor staple for the rest of the year.
