Austin’s shoegaze ensemble Single Lash is premiering with us today their video for “Frozen Honey”, a track culled from their upcoming LP Providence which is set for release on October 26, 2018.
The song and video have an almost sonic subtextual element echoing deep isolation, being remedied by an emergence from a cavernous enclosure, with warm breath hitting the cold air.
Watch the video below.
Single Lash is helmed by frontman Nicolas Nadeau, who as a RISD alum, has followed in the footsteps of David Byrne and The Talking Heads by continuing his musical explorations after relocating to Austin and recruiting Neil Lord (of Future Museums and Thousand Foot Whale Claw).
The album Providence takes its name from the city in Rhode Island, where Nadeau began his creative explorations.
