Adult. and Group A are highlights at Berlin’s Krake Festival 2017

Release the Kraken!

KRAKE FESTIVAL 2017 is at hand! The annual Berlin based festival for challenging and cutting edge electronic music returns on July 24th for a week’s worth of events.

The 8th edition of the festival is spreading it’s tentacles all over Berlin—commencing on Monday at Silent Green—a beautiful former crematorium in the north of Berlin with a performance from These Hidden Hands.

Wednesday see’s Krake Festival teaming up with Prague’s Lunchmeat Festival for a well curated lineup at Griessmuehle.

Friday at Urban Spree will see the legendary Krake Label Boutique there again where labels such as Instruments of Discipline, Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, Mannequin, Jealous God, and more!

Our personal editorial pick as being the highlight of the festival is showcased this night of the festival—as later on at Urban Spree in the gallery space there will be performances by Japanese synth act Group A

and Detroit synthpunk duo Nicola Kuperus and Adam Lee Miller’s acclaimed project Adult.

With DJ sets by Marc AshNewclear Waves (aka Alessandro Adriani owner of Mannequin Records), Luna Violenta (Instruments of Discipline), and more!

From Saturday to Monday morning the festival will return to Griessmuehle for 36 hours of non stop music. We recommend checking in on Ancient Methods, and a live set from  Trepaneringsritualen.

Order your tickets via The KILLEKILL shop or the Official Krake Merch Page
