Before embarking on a 14 date North American tour this autumn, Vancouver’s fantastic post-punk and new-wave quartet ACTORS are premiering a stylish and artistic collage of imagery ranging from distorted parking lot cctv footage, an eclipse, silent films, and a sensual yet faceless figure obscured in a balaclava, all in the video for “Slaves”—directed by the band’s own Shannon Hemmett.
“Slaves”, a stellar track guided by a strong bassline that gives way to lush reverb and guitars, is featured on the band’s recently release album It Will Come to You.
