Manchester’s funky post-punk heroes A Certain Ratio have shared their first new music since 2008’s Mind Made Up with the release of their video for “Dirty Boy”. The track will be included in their career spanning compilation acr:set, which will be released on coloured double vinyl, CD and digitally on October 12th, 2018.
“Dirty Boy” features the voice of the late Tony Wilson preparing the band for “The Fox” recording session, plus vocals from post-punk legend Barry Adamson.
In addition to “Dirty Boy”, the track “Make It Happen”, which was also recorded during session at Oxygene in Manchester will be included in the set, which is comprised of rare 7 inch and 12 inch mixes of tracks included in the band’s live set, such as the Bernard Sumner mix of “Won’t Stop Loving You”.
