Kansas City’s Redder Moon strikes again, their latest single a spark in the dark. Current Heartbeat surges forward, the third offering from their forthcoming LP, If You’re Falling, Dive, set to land on vinyl by late April. With Jeremiah James Gonzales at the helm and Gordy Goudie, whose hands have shaped the sounds of Simple Minds and Echo & The Bunnymen, polishing its edges, the track hums with the bold shimmer of the mid-’80s, a pulse that calls to Talk Talk and Chameleons.
