The world, it seems, is built on an ever-receding finish line. You run, you scrape, you bleed, and just as you reach out, the prize shifts—further, higher, beyond reach. Others watch, measure, judge, their expectations a weight you never asked to carry. Be better, be faster, be more. They nod when you succeed, but their eyes are already set on the next milestone. No rest, no satisfaction—only the gnawing whisper that what you are is never quite enough. It’s a rigged game, a cruel trick, and yet, you keep running, chasing something that refuses to be caught.
Brian Fox (Electrical Audio) and Nadia Garofalo (Heavy Feelings, ex-Ganser) collide in KAPUT, a sonic maelstrom that thrives on disorder, sculpting songs from jagged synths and defiant declarations. Their alliance, forged in early 2023, sees Garofalo stepping beyond Ganser’s confines and into Fox’s unpredictable vision. With drummer M. Sord (Jon Spencer and the Hitmakers), they trade restraint for rebellion.
Sucker is their battle cry: this new single is an explosive rejection of endless expectations and ever-shifting targets. The track sneers and thrashes, refusing compliance, its spoken-word invective colliding with spasmodic percussion and sparse piano stabs. The echoes of Sonic Youth’s discord, Lydia Lunch’s snarling urgency, and Romeo Void’s sleek insubordination ripple through its DNA.
With Sucker, KAPUT doesn’t ask permission; they dismantle, disrupt, and discard. Frustration fuels the fire, but the result is razor-sharp—precision masked in chaos, clarity clawed from the wreckage, a sound that doesn’t negotiate, doesn’t apologize, and certainly doesn’t wait for approval.

KAPUT looks forward to releasing their debut LP in early 2025.
